The New England Chapter is a chapter of the American Society for Indexing, a non-profit association founded in 1968 to promote excellence in indexing and increase awareness of the value of well-written and well-designed indexes. The New England Chapter (NEASI) represents about 70 professional indexers from all six New England states. NEASI is a diverse group of highly skilled, well-trained professionals with expertise in a wide range of indexing and information management activities and specialties. The chapter sponsors two conferences per year on professional development topics such as: marketing, business management, indexing specialties, and web site design. Whether you're an indexer, are thinking about becoming an indexer, or are considering hiring an indexer, you'll find helpful information here and through contacts with members of the New England Chapter.
